First things first.
This isn't a fashion blog! I'm not going to take hipster pictures of me, prancing around in a field.
And this isn't a blog about fugly '80s clothing. I was in elementary school in the '80s, so my fashion sins can be forgiven. Instead, I'll take you through a journey of my 1990s and 2000's clothing.
Thing is, none of it is too cringe-worthy and some of it might be from, say, 2009!
Maybe I'm weird, but I attach a lot of memories to my clothing. Because most of my clothing was from the mall (Old Navy, Gap, Macy's, NY&CO, etc.), you might've owned one of these pieces. I hope to spark a trip down memory lane for 'ya!
I have an excellent memory, so I'll be able to tell you roughly when the item was purchased.
I also used to sell my old clothing on eBay. Fortunately, I've kept EVERY SINGLE PHOTO I took for items I sold, since I began selling in 2004. So I have a lot of material.
The inspiration for this blog comes from a lady I saw at the Science Museum a few weeks back. She was wearing this hideous skirt. I kept thinking, "I know that skirt from somewhere."
Turns out, I had that same skirt. Bought it from New York & Company in 2002. And, yep, it'll be featured on the blog. Trust me, it's bad.
