2006: Kohl's Candies Tiered Denim Jean Skirt

I thought this skirt was cool. In my head, I thought the tiered with frayed stitching added an unexpected twist to the traditional denim skirt. In reality, it looks like something my 6 year old niece would wear.

See, ladies, it's tragedies like this that happen when you shop in the Juniors department too long. I may be able to FIT in Juniors sizing, but that doesn't mean I should wear it.

2006: Old Navy Outlet: Embroidered Flower Miniskirt

2006 loves its embroidered denim.
Embroidered denim seemed to be all the rage in 2006, no? I bought this beauty at the Old Navy Outlet. And I never wore it.

My guess is that I got a good deal on it since I obviously decided to sell it on eBay rather than return it to the Old Navy Outlet (I don't live that far from it).

I sold it because it was too short on me. I didn't dare bare that much leg at work. Because, of course, that's where I was planning on wearing this denim disaster.

Confession: I still think it's kinda cute :X

2006 Limited: "Drew Jeans" with Embroidered Flowers

Limited: Drew Jeans from 2006
Bought these jeans at the Limited in 2006 when I was 26. The flowers look like they belong on a wedding cake and overall, they look like something my 8 year old niece would wear. I paired them with a turquoise sweater from The Gap. I'd even wear them to work. Please don't hate me.

My love affair with these jeans didn't last too long; they went up on eBay only after having them for a few months. Not because I felt too old too old to be wearing them, but that the turquoise sweater I told you about shrunk and I couldn't figure out what else to wear with them.
